I have finished the damn screenplay, or so I state with confidence. The task of selling the work could be quite the challenge, considering my status as ‘Outsider’ to the industry. I try nonetheless.
This winter I write furiously. With my soon-to-come state of fatherhood, such time to dally with pencil and paper will diminish evermore … I will work with whatever time is given to me.
Oh and one other thing: the mysterious visitor to Edgar Allan Poe’s grave will require a successor, someone new to bring a bottle of brandy and a handful of roses. Who will take on the task, I wonder?
Pity that I prefer Drambuie …
I continue to work pen to paper, spinning a web or two of ideas and words. Though I am working on the tale of Shander and his brother, I fear I must allow myself to be distracted for a time: I am going to work through some of the developments of my screenplay. Fun, fun.
Until then, I take comfort in the fact that the residents of Vallon are notorious for their patience …
